Money is the means to pay and stay out of debt, be rich ,full.

A root is the beginning, source, or place of origin.

Evil is the opposite of truth…it is untruth, lies, deceptions

Jesus was accused of being a "man who tried to make himself God." In reality He is "God who became a man."

· DO WE:  Test God by pushing to the limits of secular humanism
· DO WE:  Test our salvation by sinning
· DO WE:  Test our relationships by not loving each other
· DO WE: Test our faith?

WILL OF GOD

Can be like a skyscraper with nothing marked: no floors, no offices, no directions.
Other than that, everything and everyone are functioning perfectly.

What would you do?

· Start from the bottom and work your way up?
· Find someone who knows the way?
· Ask questions of everyone you meet?
· Trust the maker and sender to get you to the top?

What if the only thing you had to drink was water? No coffee, no coke, no Kool-Aid.We don't like to drink water because it is bland.  We flavor it to suit our tastes. Do we do the same thing with "living water?" Most of the world is in shambles. Only because of, and from, the countries that have achieved a level of freedom/liberty is anything else possible. Consider Europe before America. Abject poverty, monarchs, wars, famines, diseases. Europe could not handle the blessing that God was going to "give" his church, so He brought it to America.

Every human life on earth is a tragedy without God!
"A man who is too big to do little things is to little to do big things."
It takes lot of power to lift a rocket past the Earth's atmosphere. It's the same with revival. It just doesn't happen by itself.
Barrabas was the first man for whom Christ died -- literally.

see that the treasures of God far more than take the place of the things of this world.

SIT, SAT, SET

· Set for the defense of the gospel….PHIL 1:7

The invisible God speaks and His words become visible in the creation. He Himself becomes visible through the words He has spoken. When enough of the Word was comprehended, the invisible God became manifest to us through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. (1 T1M 3:16 -- "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.")
Again in Colossians, we are reminded of this reality. (COL 1:15: "Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:")

Visible man speaks invisible words. I can not see the impact of my words here in the physical world. My words will either manifest truth, righteous, and love (if I speak God's Word) or my words will manifest evil, deception, and unrighteousness (if I speak contrary to the Word of God). In effect, my words will either manifest Christ or I will manifest the devil. (The power of life and death is in the tongue.)  

Satan is the manifestation of contention and contrariness. God does not dispute his nature or His supremacy. Satan disputes with man about whether or not god is perfect and just in all things and Satan disputes with God about whether or not man can serve God. He questions; he challenges; he accuses; he condemns; he lies and deceives.

The whole natural world is subject to the Spirit-anointed word of God through which it was created. "Sun, stand still." "Peace, be still." 

No man speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed. No man can say that Jesus us Lord except by the Holy Ghost. The implication is that you are in the flesh if you call Jesus accursed or if you use his name in profanity.

There was no faith in the Garden except the word that the Lord had given Adam concerning the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Everything was provided and man's faith was all wrapped up in what God said they could not have. They did not pass the "testing, trail, trying" of their faith. "Satan comes immediately to snatch (steal, kill, destroy) the Word because it is in response to the truth that the devil comes to lie and deceive concerning the Word. "The word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith." Satan comes to try your faith. At the time of the garden there was nothing to hope for -- everything was provided. The one thing they did not have (to be like God) is what they begin to hope for. But they did not have the faith or wisdom to trust God to bring it about. They tried to do it themselves, but there was no advocate or intercessor. Jesus is the perfect man that God purposed in the beginning. He had to come, but He came in the "fullness" of time.
